Tuna provides high quality protein value even in greater proportion than meat, an oily fish rich in Omega 3 fatty acids, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, vitamins B and D, or calcium, nutrients that help maintain the cardiovascular system, nervous system and defences. The chickpea is a legume rich in protein and fibre, and low in saturated fat, being an indispensable ingredient in a balanced diet. It also stands out as a remarkable source of slow absorbing carbohydrates, which produce a gradual assimilation of glucose, helping to balance the blood sugar level and generating constant energy.
It also contains many minerals such as phosphorus, iron, magnesium, and is especially rich in vitamins B1, B6 and folic acid. Wakame seaweed is rich in proteins and carbohydrates, as well as minerals for electrolyte recovery after training. It contains very few calories (160 kcal per 100 grams) and provides almost 6 times more calcium than milk as well as 5 times more iron than beef, a very useful ingredient to meet daily nutritional needs. Algae are also a source of bioactive compounds such as polyphenols, lecithins, polysaccharides and others that can control the development of chronic diseases.
Thanks to their natural pigments with interesting biological activities, such as xanthines, they present antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective effects in our organism. Finally, the vegetables used in our recipes provide the recommended amount of vitamins, minerals and fibre for a complete, balanced diet. The use of spices helps activate the metabolism and improves digestion. “
